~ lucky me got to catch up with a lovely soul who I met way back in 93 or 94, the very beginning of professional ballet training days…
.
Was so nice to reminisce Dance World 301 days and have such a laugh with Dean Shields. Love, love , love how this crazy beautiful dance industry connects in such a strong way no matter days, mths, years pass by without speaking in the real - and then you catch up with no barriers and fill in the missing spaces with wild, wonderful raw and heartfelt stories…

Andddd I couldn’t believe he ended up buying a piece?!?

Dean also asked a special request of the story to be hand written on the limited edition fine art print.
Eek, at first I was feeling very scared to do this - but after a lot of planning, measurements & practice - I’m over the moon with the results, as is Dean (phew)

Until drop off and we catch up again lovely boy 🥰
Hmmm, me thinks we need a bit of 93-94 Dance World reunion coming up ?! Who would be up for that ?

I’m beyond grateful and faith in humanity is restored once again.
So much love, kindness, vulnerability, strength, beauty, passion and inspiration - so much goodness from every single soul attending this magical event…
.

My most favourite beautiful and bittersweet moments are observing mums & daughters (heartfelt & sometimes struggle) interactions. More often than not I gently remind them how lucky they are to experience such an adventure together… & more often than not I share my ‘i dream of Jeanne’ story & end up all teary & messy, along with snippets of their life stories…
.
Am still digesting it all & catching up on sleep & some quiet time - and in the pockets, sending everyone lots of love and gratitude for having the courage to share their stories with me - Soul Stories… ❤️
