Everything seemed to
pass in & out
of my chest
these days
– a hole so big
that allowed me to feel
everything & shed
many tears –
but never for
very long,
because all that was
felt would soon fall out
of the space where
warm fuzzies, love &
stuff like that
was normally kept…
