Beautifully Human (i)

Title: Beautifully Human

When you bury
your head in your hands
because it feels
too much
& your knees give way
because the heart
is to heavy to hold
~ and then what?

That’s when you curl up
& cry your eyes dry,
stay still for a moment,
or as long as it takes
to catch your breath & stand up straight
ready to be beautifully human
& love the world
all over again…
