So happy to be a part of SEVEN Steiner Open/Fair Days this year!!! I was hoping to be a part of few others, but some dates clashed, so it was a matter of lucky dipping into a bag of names which one to support. Last year Soul Stories was extremely grateful to slip into a stall space at the last second at Ghilgai’s event and was so well received that promised I would return this year and ask as many Steiner Schools as l possibly could – loving the creativity & philosophy behind each one… Much love always, tams x

Come and celebrate Spring with us.

When: Saturday 12 October 2019 from 10am – 2pm
Where: Wild Cherry School 28 McKean Street, Bairnsdale

Our beautiful school grounds will transform into a vibrant marketplace with activities for all ages. Entry is free.

Beginning with a traditional Maypole Dance at 10.45am sharp, there will be something for everyone.

Young children will delight in the wonders of our magical children’s tent, the children’s cafe, gem fossicking, games, face painting & a myriad of little treasures to capture their imagination.
There will be lots of wholesome food, live entertainment, our famous White Elephant stall (offering second-hand goods) market stalls offering arts & craft, clothing, and more.

Our classrooms will also be open for a chance to journey through our curriculum and admire the wonderful work of our students with our teachers happy to answer any questions about Waldorf/Steiner education that you may have.

Established in 2013, Wild Cherry School offers holistic education from prep through to class 6 based on Waldorf/Steiner pedagogy using the Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework. The School is situated in 28 McKean Street, Bairnsdale – the commercial capital of East Gippsland and gateway to the Gippsland Lakes – in a beautiful iconic building surrounded by established gardens.

Wild Cherry School also offers weekly playgroup sessions and an affiliated 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten managed through Uniting Gippsland at Bairnsdale Early Learning Centre. Starting in 2019, kindergarten and playgroup will move to Wild Cherry School thereby realising a long-held dream to have all services on one site.
